NATURAL EYE CARE
To help your body prevent or slow down the progression of Cataracts, Macular Degeneration, Dry Eyes, and Diabetic Retinopathy
Exercise daily, even if only a 20 minute walk.
Avoid Cigarette smoke.
Eat proper foods while avoiding others.
Take proper supplements.
GOOD FOODS:
Eat organic foods whenever possible!
Green vegetables (all "greens", spinach, broccoli, sea vegetables),
carrots, yams,
citrus fruits, cantaloupe, apples, blueberries,
sunflower seeds, almonds, Brazil nuts, walnuts,
whole grains (brown rice, quinoa, whole grain breads.)
Eat free range lean meats, turkey, chicken, and eggs that have not been injected with drugs.
Eat cold water fish such as sardines, salmon, trout, or cod fish.
Cook with olive oil or coconut oil.
Drink green tea, preferably decaffeinated. Sweeten with stevia, brown rice syrup or black strap molasses.
FOODS TO AVOID:
Hydrogenated or partially-hydrogenated oils,
sodas, high fructose corn syrup, aspartame, sucralose, refined sugars,
MSG, BHA, BHT,
white flour, white rice.
Limit Caffeine intake. Limit alcohol consumption to no more than one glass of red wine a day.
Keep a positive attitude and try to practice a stress free lifestyle!
