Dr. Jo Ann Jeffers

Dr. Jo Ann Jeffers graduated from Salus University, one of the best optometry schools in the country. She moved to South Carolina in 1994 and opened Cherry Grove Eye Care. Dr. Jeffers has become known for giving "the most thorough eye exam I have ever had." She is also very passionate and knowledgeable about nutritional and lifestyle medicine.

Dr. James Coker

Dr. Jim Coker is originally from Lake City, SC. He is a graduate of Clemson University and the Southern College of Optometry. Dr. Coker was in private practice for 22 years in Woodruff, SC prior to relocating to Surfside Beach. He was also on staff at TLC-Piedmont Laser Vision Centers from 1998-2003. Dr. Coker is a member of the American Optometric Association, SC Optometric Association, and the Waccamaw Optometry Society. Dr. Coker has been associated with Cherry Grove Eye Care for over 2 years.

Dr. Timothy Brown

Dr. Brown is a recent graduate of Salus University. He is very dedicated to compassionate eye care and brings the latest knowledge and techniques. Dr. Brown has a special interest in Low Vision, and can help prescribe devices to help those with partial vision loss as in macular degeneration. He is a welcome addition to our practice!
